Dearest supporters, brothers and sisters in Christ,
We have arrived safely back in Singapore! =) The trip was a truly wonderful one, and we would first like to thank God for making it all possible. We especially want to thank God for the students who prayed to receive Christ into their lives for the very first time. Next, we would really like to thank all of you who had supported us in one way or another - financially, in prayer, or both. Thank you for partnering with us to advance God's kingdom!
We are currently in the process of producing a newsletter that will give you more details about our trip. We are also compiling all the photos taken and we hope to share them with you as soon as possible.
This mission trip may have ended, but we are commited to continue praying for this country that the Lord had called us to in the following months. In particular, we will be praying for the salvation of the still unsaved new Japanese friends whom we will also stay in touch with.
Take care and God Bless! =)
In God's love,
James

Dear Praying Friends,
thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and in your prayers. We have come to the final week of our ministry in Japan. Please do continue to pray for us in the coming week.
1) New Believers
To date, a total of 5 students (3 from Tsuda and 2 from Hitotsubashi) have come to know the Lord and even more have been exposed to the gospel. Please pray that they will grow and remain strong in their faith as follow-up continues in the coming week. Pray for a smooth transition as we handover these students to the Campus Crusade staff in Japan before we fly back to Singapore.
2) Lunch Time Meetings
Pray that the students will continue to come for our lunch meetings on campus as we move into the last 3 days of ministry. Pray for lasting contacts to be made, that we might still be able to keep in touch with these students even after we have returned to Singapore.
Pray for God's favour to be upon us as we go about our daily lunch gatherings and witnessing on campus.
3) Farewell Party (Wed, 14th June)
This will be our last evangelistic party in Japan. We will be putting up a short skit and Kaiting will be sharing her testimony. Pray that God will work through the programme that night and through every team member, that we might bring more people into His Kingdom.
4) Team Members
Pray for good health, strength and God's sustenance as we press on in this final week. Pray that we might give ourselves fully to the ministry and that we will allow God to use us in any way He wishes.
We will return to Singapore on Friday, 16th June (TG 401) at 2230 hrs. Please pray for a safe journey back.
May the grace of God be with you now and forevermore.
God bless,
Tokyo Team 2

Hi all!
This is the statistics for all. We have 3 PRCs so far - people who prayed to received Christ! Yeah! Thank God for His mercy and faithfulness upon us. We had two home-parties so far and it had been a fruitful week as we made friends and shared about the gospel. We will be having another home party and our Singapore Cultural night this coming week. Many of us will also be going out with our newly made Japanese friends. So please remember us in prayers.

Dear Praying Friends,
Hope all is well at home and that you guys have been praying hard for our team! Here are a few updates and prayer requests for the coming week.
1) Thanksgiving
We had our first house party on Wednesday night, during which a student from Hitotsubashi received Christ. In addition, 2 other girls from Tsuda College prayed to receive Jesus into their heart. Please pray for good follow-up and that these students will shine for Christ in their campuses.
Thank God for a good turn-out of students during the lunch meetings at Hitotsubashi and Tsuda college. Many students are open to hearing about Christianity. Pray that these students will continue to come for our meetings and that we will have oppurtunities to share Christ with them.
We went to church last week and presented 2 songs to encourage the Christians. Pray that we will be able to encourage the church and the JCCC staff during our stay in Japan.
2) General Team Requests
Pray for God's strength and sustenance to be upon every team member, for good health, and for God to watch over our families as well.
Pray for God's wisdom, guidance and that we will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit's leading as we speak to our friends. Ask that every conversation will be fruitful and that we will be able to speak God's word into their lives
3) Students
Pray that our contacts will be available to meet up with us during/after school hours so that we can deepen our friendships with them.
Many have been exposed to the gospel but have not made a decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. To them, this is a very important decision to make. Pray that they will understand the gospel message and that the Holy Spirit will convict and move their hearts.
Thank you for praying! May the peace of God be with you always.
God bless,
Tokyo Team 2

Here's an update from the Tsuda side of the mission team!
Campus Ministry started on Monday proper =) The first group of students we met for our lunch meeting was small, but we were encouraged because the girls whom we had met during our welcome party had invited their friends to join us for the meal. In the afternoon, we stayed on campus to talk to the students in the canteen. We thank God for the favour He has granted us; many of the girls whom we approached were so ready to spend time interacting with us.
We will be having our first house party tomorrow, and will be cooking curry and fried bee hoon for our friends. Praise God for the students who have indicated and interest in coming. We'll try to post some pictures soon!

Hi people! To all our supporters and friends who are watching this space for exciting bits =) Ministry here has more or less started and yesterday was the first day into campus. For the seven of us in Hitotsubashi University, we started on our flyers' distributions and met many people, both japanese and non-Japanese. What really encouraged us was that we came across the Korean Campus Crusade for Christ in the same campus. They were doing a gospel campus concert. At first, we heard from our JCCC staff, Naomi and Taketo that Hitotsubashi is a new campus ground whereby JCCC is yet to be really set up here so we thought that the possibility of seeing and meeting Christians was almost zero. But how glad we were, to find these people who were also in Japan, in Hitotsubashi University to spread God's message and love!
We are going to hold interactive lunch programmes for our Hitotsubashi friends every day from 12 to 1 pm.
We will holding 3 English classes, 1 chinese class and 1 singlish class. Apart from these, we will have games and of course, testimonies sharing. However, these plans are still tentative and might change. So, dear all, please continue to pray for us as we minister to these students through our witnessing and interaction with them. May the Lord also show us the way into their hearts.

Dear Praying Friends,
thank you once again for partnering with us in prayer for this mission trip. We've arrived safely at Tokyo, Japan and are all settling in well. The past 2 days were mainly a time of orientation for us. Today, we went down to the 2 campuses (Hitotsubashi and Tsuda College) for a prayer walk. Here are some updates and prayer requests for the coming week:
Tsuda Team:1) Thank God for the contacts we have made with 4 girls from Tsuda College, one of which is already a Christian. Pray that they will continue to meet with us, and that they will bring their friends along to our daily lunch meetings. Thank God for the crusade staff who have been a blessing to us.
2) English lessons will be conducted during the lunch gatherings on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Chinese lessons will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. Pray for God's favour to be upon us as we meet with the students and interact with them. Pray for Juliana and Huiling as they teach Chinese to the students on Friday and for creativity as we plan for the programmes each day.
Hitotsubashi Team:1) The team will be going down to campus to give out flyers to the freshmen to inform them about the lunch gatherings on campus. Pray that many would respond and accept the invitation to lunch.
2) Pray for God's wisdom and guidance as the team plans for the programmes. Pray that through the various programmes, many lasting contacts will be made with the students.
General Team Requests:We will be having our first 2 house parties in the coming week (Wed and Fri). Please pray that the students would come to our gathering and that we will be able to share with them and be intentional in our reaching out to them.
