Dear Praying Friends,

thank you once again for partnering with us in prayer for this mission trip. We've arrived safely at Tokyo, Japan and are all settling in well. The past 2 days were mainly a time of orientation for us. Today, we went down to the 2 campuses (Hitotsubashi and Tsuda College) for a prayer walk. Here are some updates and prayer requests for the coming week:

Tsuda Team:
1) Thank God for the contacts we have made with 4 girls from Tsuda College, one of which is already a Christian. Pray that they will continue to meet with us, and that they will bring their friends along to our daily lunch meetings. Thank God for the crusade staff who have been a blessing to us.

2) English lessons will be conducted during the lunch gatherings on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Chinese lessons will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. Pray for God's favour to be upon us as we meet with the students and interact with them. Pray for Juliana and Huiling as they teach Chinese to the students on Friday and for creativity as we plan for the programmes each day.

Hitotsubashi Team:

1) The team will be going down to campus to give out flyers to the freshmen to inform them about the lunch gatherings on campus. Pray that many would respond and accept the invitation to lunch.

2) Pray for God's wisdom and guidance as the team plans for the programmes. Pray that through the various programmes, many lasting contacts will be made with the students.

General Team Requests:

We will be having our first 2 house parties in the coming week (Wed and Fri). Please pray that the students would come to our gathering and that we will be able to share with them and be intentional in our reaching out to them.
